Bangkok streets clear of street food before end of the year
All of Bangkok’s food vendors will be swept from the streets before the end of the year.
To improve safety and cleanliness the Thai capital’s administration announced that the next targets to clean-up are Yaorawat and backpackers hotspot Khao San Road. “The street vendors have seized the pavement space for too long and we already provide them with space to sell food and other products legally in the market.” Says Wanlop Suwandee, chief adviser to Bangkok’s governor. Bangkok was recently votes ad street food capital of the world.
