Are these floating people setting a World Record?
If they broke the record is not sure yet, but fact is that almost 2000 people tried to set a new Guinness world record by holding hands while floating in Lake Epecuena, Argentina on Monday.
Experts from the Guinness Book of Records certified that 1,941 people free-floated in a line simultaneously for 30 seconds in the salty lake, southeast of Buenos Aires, according to a video published by local authorities.
The previous record was set in 2014 in Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County, Taiwan. 650 people linked up using flotation aids. It will take around two months to get the new attempt approved and to determine whether the record was in fact broken.
